The avenue will be 2.7 kilometres long and 42 metres wide, with six lanes in two directions. This project will start this month with an investment of about RMB 230 million.

3. Tong’an Civic Centre 同安市民中心

Tong’an Civic Centre will cover an area of 15.84 hectares. It will contain four parts: Civic Centre, Waterfront Leisure Park, Civic Plaza, and Yacht Harbor. Now it has an investment of RMB 300 million.

4. Jindu Haishang International Marine Buildings 金都・海尚国际

Jindu Haishang International Marine Buildings will be built in the south of Tong’an Binhai New Town, covering an area of nearly 80,000 square meters. This project will be started this month by Jindu Real Estate Group, with an investment of over RMB 5 billion.

5. Man-Made Beach Phase II 人造沙滩

The Man-Made Beach lies on the coastal line, in the southern part of Binhai New Town. It will be 4.6 kilometres long and 200 metres wide.

The construction work of the southern part started last December and will be finished this October. The construction of the Northern part will be started this month and completed next June.

6. Xiamen Athletics Training Centre 厦门市运动训练中心

Xiamen Athletics Training Centre will cover a space of 15.93 hectares, connecting Xizhou Road in the north, Xike Street in the west, Tongbing Road in the south, and Binhaixi Avenue in the east.

Some comprehensive gymnasiums, badminton courts, and table tennis courts will be set up in the north-east part of the training centre. Shooting halls, swimming & diving natatoriums, and weight-lifting rooms will be established in the south-west part.

7. Yi Yang Electronics Science Park 益扬电子科技园

Yi Yang Electronics Science Park lies in the Industrial Park of Tong’an Binhai New Town, covering a space area of 87 acres.

It will mainly produce electronic products including earphones, loudspeakers, and microphones. The construction work started in February, and it is scheduled to be completed in June, 2012.

8. Daitouxi Greening & Landscaping 埭头溪绿化景观

The project of Daitouxi Greening & Landscaping will start this June, with an initial investment of RMB 38 million. The landscaping area around Xike will be 1.086 million square meters.

9. Jindi Zhongzhou Binhai Residential Area 金帝・中洲滨海城

The Jindi Zhongzhou Binhai Residential Area is located at the estuary of Tong’an Bay. The residential area will cover a wide space of 1145 acres in Tong’an District of Xiamen.
